Since there’s been a lot of talk about Cadbury Vegemite chocolate lately, it reminded me of Australia Day 2015, where Pizza Hut had their own Vegemite pizza.
I’ve walked past Moi by Fabrice Patisserie Fine many times, and it’s always very busy. It seems to be very popular with women with dogs (it has a dog-friendly outdoor seating area out the front) and also women without dogs. A few guys too I guess. Every Friday I go out to lunch around Brighton with people from work. This time my boss’s wife came with us, and we needed to find a place that offered gluten-free options to cater for her dietary needs.
Rupert and the Fig was the first place we found that offered gluten-free options on their menu. Some of the guys from work have been there before- they mentioned that they make good burgers and really good coffee. In particular, one guy’s wife gets her coffee every morning from Rupert and the Fig before she catches the train. Continue reading Rupert and the Fig Review Brighton
This is one of my favourite burger places in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. It combines two of my favourite things- fast food and video games. I have only been here a few times, and I’m a bit disappointed in myself for that. Continue reading Eat8bit / 8bit Burgers Footscray Review
My work colleagues and I recently had a goodbye lunch for one of our staff members at Il Camminetto Wood Fire pizza in Brighton. This is the first pizza place I’ve tried in Brighton and I was quite happy with it. Continue reading Il Caminetto Brighton Pizza Review
OK. I don’t know how fair it is to review a burger that I designed myself, because in theory, I should definitely thoroughly enjoy it by default. So instead, I’m reviewing the “experience” of this process, with mention to some anecdotes as well. Continue reading Hogan’s Corner McDonald’s Create Your Taste Burger Review
Last Saturday, one of my friends had their 27th birthday event at the Munich beer place and it was awesome.
I knew I would be writing about the place, but unfortunately I was being really social the whole time and forgot to take many photos, so I’ll try and describe it instead. Continue reading Munich Brauhaus Melbourne Review
One of my good friends lives right near Chapel Street, and I asked him to take me somewhere I hadn’t been before. He suggested the Patee Thai Restaurant. He goes here with his girlfriend regularly and said it’s one of his favourite places in the area. Continue reading Patee Thai Restaurant Chapel Street Review
Golden Orient in Narre Warren is the only Chinese restaurant in Narre Warren I have been to. In fact, it’s the only restaurant I’ve been to in the area. So for now, it is technically the best restaurant in Narre Warren that I’ve ever been to. Continue reading Golden Orient Chinese Food Narre Warren Review
I like Nando’s, always have. Always will. Whilst it’s never really the first place that springs to mind when I’m hungry, I still end up there several times a year. I often go to the Point Cook Nando’s with my friends, as they love mild-hot sauce on their chicken. Continue reading Nando’s Werribee Review
